Embassy Suites Hotel - Hot Springs is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping department and keep our hotel looking its best!

Salary Range: $44k - $54k (dependent upon prior relatable experience)

Welcome to Hot Springs, Arkansas! Home to world-famous thermal baths, breathtaking views of the Ouachita Mountains, and vibrant culture. Our hotel is ideally located within Hot Springs National Park and connected to Bank OZK Arena and the Hot Springs Convention Center. We have 246 two-room suites and approximately 4,000 square feet of meeting space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping staff to perform at their best.
  • Develop cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to guarantee cleanliness and comfort.
  • Manage inventory, ordering of supplies, and cost control for the housekeeping department.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet guest expectations and maintain operational flow.

  • Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to upholding high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • A problem-solver who can handle guest requests and unexpected situations with grace.
  • A proactive and positive attitude that promotes a great work environment.

Qualifications: 

Required Prior Experience: 

 3+ years of experience in Hotel Management - Specifically in Housekeeping Management

Required Education: 

High School Diploma or equivalent 

Preferred Education:

Associates degree or higher in hospitality, business, or related field 

Required Technology: 

Basic computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, and Teams 

Experience with hotel information systems 

Required Physical: 

Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally 

Able to stand and/or walk for duration of scheduled shift 

Required Other: 

Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights weekends, holidays, and special events 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Preferred Other:

Bi-Lingual
