Responsibilities

  • You will sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing with attention to detail and care.
  • We expect you to operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • You shall inspect all items for stains, tears, or damages before washing and report any issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • We rely on you to maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room, ensuring that supplies are stocked and properly stored.
  • You will use appropriate cleaning detergents and solutions according to established guidelines to ensure optimal results and fabric care.
  • We expect you to follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries while handling laundry tasks.
  • You shall collaborate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery of clean laundry.
  • We rely on you to handle lost-and-found items responsibly, logging them accurately and notifying the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • You need to be skilled in operating and maintaining industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
  • We expect you to sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and package linens and garments with a high degree of efficiency and care.
  • You must handle stained and damaged items by treating them appropriately according to hotel standards and guidelines.
  • Your role includes monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linen and communicating needs for restocking to management.
  • You should follow proper procedures for the safe handling of chemicals used in the laundering process.
  • It is crucial that you adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Attention to detail is required as you inspect laundered items for quality control before distributing them.
  • We require you to coordinate effectively with housekeeping staff to meet guest and operational needs on time.
